MEET THE TEAM
Since Angela was little, she always had a love of the arts. She found herself writing poetry, painting, making jewelry, sewing her own clothes + taking photos. She always took an unorthodox approach to life and never feared standing out from the norm. Her passion for self expression and creativity grew and she found herself pursuing her artistic abilities throughout college. Angela graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Graphic Design. She soon ventured to South Florida where she landed leadership positions for major ad agencies and corporate companies. She had the opportunity to work on marketing materials for well known celebrities such as Danny Devito, The music band, O.A.R. and many others.
Angela spent over 15 years in the corporate world and then left her career after her son, Jhett was born to start her first photography business in 2010. Since then, Angela has expanded her photography offerings and also launched a clothing line. She juggles single motherhood and her businesses each day with strength and determination.
To Canton Girl Gang, she brings a positive, loving energy as well as marketing, graphic design & photography talents. She chooses to live a life that inspires hope in others.
Local lady, Alyssa Brady is a Jackson School for the Arts graduate, self-proclaimed weirdo, enneagram type 7 spiritualist with her sun and moon in Aquarius.
After earning her Associates in Business Administration, and experiencing some well-deserved life lessons, she found herself falling into an incredible journey through the Center For Applied Conflict Management at KSU. Her college career culminated in an additional Bachelor’s degree in Applied Conflict Management with a minor in Women’s Studies. After a year with the Long-Term Care Ombudsman, she fell back on her bartending skills to formulate a new plan. She needed to work for herself, she decided, because she needed to be creatively unconstrained; she needed to push some limits and create some change in the world, or at least her community.
So now here she is, a licensed Realtor with DeHoff Realtors of North Canton, a sales rep and bartender for Lockport Brewery of Bolivar. Lyss is an avid believer and practitioner of spreading love & light in her community, at any and every given opportunity. She believes that every person she comes into contact with, every relationship she finds herself in, deserves an abundance of positive energy. Within the Canton Girl Gang she is using her talents and knowledge to uplift local business owners with her with creative solutions, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
Amanda was born and raised here in Canton. She's always been a bit of an over-achiever, having earned three degrees, a B.A. in Business Economics from The College of Wooster, an M.S. in Accountancy from Kent State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, University College. Accounting always came naturally to her, which is why she loves helping entrepreneurs convert their own dreams into small business formation. But her passion is the written word; reading, writing and editing has become an integral part of her life path. She and her siblings weren’t allowed to watch T.V. during the school week when they were growing up, so reading became a common pastime for them all.
Amanda has maintained several blogs in the years since, and just recently decided to make editing a focus of her business, along with life coaching/mentoring. She applys her metaphysically-based spirituality to almost every task she completes and incorporates it into many conversations. There is an awakening occurring in the universe, especially as more and more entrepreneurs realize they want to make their passion their job, or they are finally ready to write the book that has been scripting itself in their brains for the last ten years. Now is the time to act, and helping people facilitate that act is a real honor for her.
